About me

I  am an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant currently working at a Level II Trauma Center at Metropolitan Hospital Center in the Upper East Side of Manhattan. I received my Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from CUNY York College, and prior, I had graduated from SUNY Geneseo with my Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Psychology in May 2017.

I am currently enrolled in a twelve-month Gulfcoast Institute Ultrasound CME Certification program focused on Emergency Medicine Ultrasound. This program combines self-guided online instruction in conjunction with one-on-one clinical instruction with attending physicians experienced in ultrasonography.

I currently am also an adjunct professor at my alma mater, York College, where I co-teach Interview and Counseling, a course focused on developing patient interaction skills. The classes I taught include topics related to Cultural Competency, Interpersonal Violence, Implicit Bias, and Taking a Sexual History.

I have always had a strong desire to work with underserved populations. In face of the constant adversity these individuals experience from poverty to poorly controlled behavioral health issues to homelessness to substance abuse,   I strive to be a provider who will take these concerns seriously and provide holistic care.

Being a PA has been rewarding and exciting. Over the last few years I have understood the beauty of intertwining philanthropy and medicine; the PA profession allows for these two concepts to comfortably work alongside the other.  Throughout PA school and my experience as a provider, I have become more passionate about medicine and could not be  more certain that healthcare is my calling.

I look forward to continuing this journey.
